Description: Born with a nervous system disorder, 11-year-old Nathan has already undergone more than 10 brain surgeries that impair most aspects of his life. The trauma of his surgeries can be detrimental at times, but his mom discovered the impact music could have on his mood. Through music, he is able to look at what lies beyond his illness and recovery – a life full of music. Nathan’s love of singing is a light for not only him, but his family.
